Wonderful!!!!
Omg! I love this and might get more! There is some leg work- probably takes at least an hour to build. But the price felt like a steal and it feels sturdy. The shelves are also wide enough to hold an assortment of things, making it easy to use. I choose the wood color which is so warm and lovely.

Freestanding tree shelving with back support
Having bought two bookshelf (Ymesiyou), the weight of the books had me worried with tipping and/or breaking off even though it’s metal (no spine/back support). And using cube organizer shelves (such as Closetmaid) doesn’t help if the books are of various sizes, being that the cube sizes are fixed for the most part.Thus the purchase of Vasagle’s bookshelves, with two different storage capacities (8 compared to 13) and footprint sizes. They are very good with holding a large number of books of various sizes and weights, which is a plus for me.As the picture(s) shown, and for those who have similar books, knows that the books weight quite a bit. They handled them quite well, with no tipping worries, having a stable base and back support for the wings.Assembly was relatively simple, and one definitely needs a power tool to help with the hex headed screws. The extra bits helped although I think they could use a few more extra pieces. The hex screws didn’t work right a few times thus the emergency extras needed to be used. And removing the errant screw wasn’t easy since the hex head was stripped thus a small plier and time to extract. I would suggest using some wood glue for the dowel plugs, not that it’s necessary but it could help keep the sections together and less gaps if any.Overall, they look great for my room and I’m sure you can repaint to your personal room preference, decorate them with stickers or even use a label printer when sorting the books out and help with returning them to their proper places.Would I buy more? Very likely yes, especially if they come in black to match my furniture. 😀

Good value for the size and price. Sturdy shelf that fits in small spaces.
Good value for the money. For the price we paid, we decided to order a second unit. The look is aesthetically pleasing and while the shelves are a bit small, they are nice and deep. As advertised the unit fits just about anywhere in a small room. Assembly wasn’t a nightmare but the instructions were done in pictures primarily. Color is exactly like the pictures showed but like other reviews said, the stickers didn’t really match so we only used a couple of them.

Brilliant statement piece for small book collections!
Great shelf it fits a lot of my books and some movies. I could also fit a lamp and some knickknacks too. It was straightforward to build and overall it a great statement piece for my new living room 😁

This is a cute and functional book shelf. Every tool included. But,,, it is too hard to assemble :((Needs 2 person n 2 hrs at least :((. But once you are done,, worth it

Careful during construction, but a good deal.
Wrong product delivered (at least I thought I’d ordered white), but what I received actually worked out well. The connecting dowels are a bit flimsy, so be careful during construction, but the end result is really quite sturdy, attractive and functional. I needed the 13+ inch height between shelves for music books. It is certainly worth the money.

The bookshelf has very cool contemporary design and offers great value for money. The building quality also seems to be good, I’ve had this for a few months now, no complaints. Has good storage capacity and seems to hold a good enough weight. Setting up was a little bit of a pain, but it was fun to put together. All in all this is a very functional yet beautiful piece of furniture
